Danielle Kayahara (Winnipeg Comedy Festival, CBC Laugh Out Loud) brings her unique brand of stand-up comedy to the stage as the host of Wisecracks for Weirdos. In addition to Danielle, each show will feature one of a rotating cast of comedic weirdos and be headlined by Fringe favourite J.D. Renaud (Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Oddblock Comedy Festival).

Wisecracks for Weirdos

This stand-up comedy show is split into 3 parts, with host Danielle Kayahara taking the opening set. Focusing on some of her weirdness, you can tell by the laughs that Danielle is a seasoned comic with great timing and delivery. The middle set will be changing throughout the show’s run, with the first early show featuring the musical comedy of The Lady Lumps (Danielle and JL Sheldon). It was a great set featuring some really good musical parody, with great chemistry and harmonies between the duo. Closing out the performance for all the shows is long time Fringe favourite J.D. Renaud. He is also known for his somewhat weird stand-up comedy and story telling that features his distinct and funny animations. He provides a strong finish to the show. So if you are able to embrace the weird and are looking for some good laughs this show should be on your list.
