Strange Things: A Stranger Things Parody

Someone wise once told me “yeah obviously, kids are funny”. This happened today, when describing the show to them, and they are absolutely correct. Stranger Things may have fallen off hard but thankfully Meraki Theatre Productions is here to make something beautiful out of the slop.

The hijinks involved in translating an entire season of television into a one hour (closer to 50 minutes even, in my performance) are a feat to behold, and fitting a cast of 12 on a stage of that size is a true demonstration of agility and skill. The venue itself is a bit rough with a sold out show, but on the other hand, the fact it’s selling out shows is a sign all of its own already. Just make sure you get there early for both the ticket, and the seat.
