Susannah Bird and Other Stories—Asper Centre (UofW)
Free-falling from 13,000-feet, at 120-miles-per-hour, strapped to a broken parachute. Susannah knows there’s nothing left to do, except wait for her life to flash before her eyes. But what she remembers is the only thing she never wanted to see again.
There’s one minute until Susannah hits the ground.
One minute.
That’s how long she has left to tell you what she’s done.
Susannah Bird is performed entirely on a static trapeze, with the actor’s feet never touching the ground.
