This stunning cast of local celebrities brings you a modern day take on the classic children’s story, Hansel and Gretel. In this version though, the gingerbread house is nowhere near as sweet. The children get whisked into a residential school where they are isolated, starved and punished. Through their love for each other, brother and sister hang on to hope until they finally seize an opportunity to escape. The Brothers Grimm weren’t grim enough for us.
