{"id":523,"date":"2015-07-19T18:18:43","date_gmt":"2015-07-19T18:18:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jennyrevue.com\/wp\/?p=523"},"modified":"2015-07-19T18:18:43","modified_gmt":"2015-07-19T18:18:43","slug":"523","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jennyrevue.com\/wp\/2015\/523","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"l1\">Folk Lordz <\/p>\n<p class=\"l2\">Rapid Fire Theatre&mdash;Rudolf Rocker CC<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodyindent\">A very different sort of long form improv makes a welcome Fringe return with <span class=\"showname\">Folk Lordz<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodyindent\">By pulling from the cultural heritage of both members and adding a third genre from the audience the duo engaged the audience with a 3-pronged onslaught of a Chekhov play, <span class=\"showname\">Sailor Moon<\/span> inspired anime, and Cree origin story (I will let you guess which is which.) <\/p>\n<p class=\"bodyindent\">The performers use their impressive command of the chosen cultural tales to take us on an energetic journey.
