{"id":1380,"date":"2017-07-21T15:13:24","date_gmt":"2017-07-21T15:13:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jennyrevue.com\/wp\/?p=1380"},"modified":"2017-07-21T15:13:24","modified_gmt":"2017-07-21T15:13:24","slug":"1380","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jennyrevue.com\/wp\/2017\/1380","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"l1\">Inertia<\/p>\n<p class=\"l2\">Happy Accidents&mdash;Rachel Browne Theatre<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodyindent\">&#8220;To be or not to be&#8230;&#8221; It&#8217;s been done before\u2014yes indeed, it has, but never this poorly.\u00a0The troupe shamelessly asked for some Jenny&#8217;s (which they might still get) but more than 3.5 stars from other review sites might be a stretch.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodyindent\">This is supposed to be a juxtaposition between actor conflict and development of the play-within-the-play.\u00a0The multiple fractures between the two worlds makes it seem like swimming across the Avon between jumps.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodyindent\">I had very high hopes based on the start, a semi-spooky, comical address to the theatre ghosts.\u00a0The Ghostbusters theme busted that ambiance immediately.\u00a0I slid downhill from there.\u00a0The political and social statements end up being potshots without any substance or backing.
